I have always wanted to work within Education, however following on from my Education Studies degree and working/volunteering in primary schools and private day nursery’s, I was unsure on what age I wanted to work with when I saw this job opportunity to work with a more diverse age range where I can see the benefits of my help and create bonds with learners along the way.
I have been at Baltic for just over a year now, I joined as a Training and Assessment support officer however have now been promoted to an Assessor! My roles have included carrying out inductions, invigilating exams around the country and marking the junior assessor tracker alongside managing a smaller caseload.
My role now is to take on a full caseload of learners guiding them through there apprenticeship and helping them achieve their goals. The most enjoyable part of my role is developing a report with my learners and watching them grow over the course of the apprenticeship.
I’d love to walk The Great Wall of China!
