[Trainers and Assessors]

I received a phone call from Baltic Recruitment and it sounded like a good place to work and a place I could put down some career roots.

When I left school I went on to an Engineering course at Peterlee College, then onto Nissan where I started gathering qualifications during my career.

I have previously worked in other training roles, manufacturing roles, warehousing roles including supervisory and quality. I have qualifications in PTTLS, NEBOSH General Certficate, ICT, Literacy, Numeracy level 2, A1 Assessor, level 4 internal quality assurance, IOSH working,managing safely, GCSE physics, maths, english, science, art, computer studies.

Working at Baltic

I have been at Baltic for 2 years and 1 month and I am a Tutor Assessor for pre-employment courses.

My favourite memory while working at Baltic was being told I'm an inspiration to my learners by Darlington College. My role is always changing as I have to adapt daily to different peoples abilities.

Interesting Fact

I used to teach air cadets how to fly gliders at RAF Catterick.

Greatest Achievement

Running the Edinburgh marathon in 29 degree heat.

Hobbies and Interests

I don't have time for hobbies as I have 3 children who play football.
