David Stoddart - Technical Trainer

Topic

[Trainers and Assessors]

I was working as a telecommunications engineer but wanted to return to the ICT industry and Baltic offered me that opportunity as an assessor.

In my previous roles, I have worked as a Programme Assessor, Military preparation course trainer and ICT Technician

I have qualifications in MTA - Cloud, Mobility & Devices & Networking, C&G Business Processes & Coding & LogicMCP, I am a Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows XPCTLLS, I have a Certificate of Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and an Assessors Award.

Working at Baltic

I have started Baltic in April 2017.

In my role, I deliver training on the IT infrastructure course and support learners through their programmes as an assessor.

The thing I enjoy most about my role delivering training to different apprentices. My favourite memory of working here is successfully interviewing to become a trainer.

I was initially employed as an assessor but after 10 months I was able to move onto the training team but now I am in a varied role delivering training online, assessing and some onsite training as well.
