This week is an exciting opportunity to celebrate all things apprenticeships – as if we needed an excuse! The theme for the 13th annual National Apprenticeship Week is:

Look Beyond

This means we’re looking beyond traditional education, looking beyond outdated hiring routes, and looking beyond unhelpful stereotypes to drive positive change with apprenticeships.

Across the nation, apprentices are making impact, making progress and making waves at the organisations they work with. We’re getting fired this week up by sharing the inspirational stories that will spark the next generation of apprentices.

We will be making progress this week by announcing some exciting enhancements we have made to our higher apprenticeships, and we’ll also be announcing the return of some old favourites!

We love to showcase the fantastic work done by apprentices, and the amazing support that their employers offer them. During National Apprenticeship Week, you can submit your nomination for our coveted “Apprentice of the Year” and “Employer of the Year” awards. The winner of each category will receive a certificate, trophy and will be featured on our website. If there’s someone you think deserves recognition, you can download the relevant nomination form below and submit to nominations@balticapprenticeships.com.

Social media

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing brand new content across our social media platforms. We’ll be highlighting exciting apprenticeship vacancies from across the country, shining the spotlight on a different region each day.

We’ll also be taking part in #AskAnApprentice and #AskAnEmployer on Twitter. If you’ve got any questions about what apprenticeship life is like, we’ll be on hand to offer our experiences, advice and top tips.

Keep up with our activities throughout the week by following us on Twitter: @BalticTraining. If you’d like to join in the conversation, use the hashtags #NAW2020 and #LookBeyond.
