AOTW - Banner

We would like to say a massive thank you to all of our apprentices for the hard work and dedication they put in during every training week. Please see all Apprentice of the Week nominations below!

Training Week: 20/05/2019 - 24/05/2019

PATRICK BRADLEY FROM EVOKE CREATIVE LTD (L4 NETWORK ENGINEER)

Patrick has worked very well this week, he always responds in class activities and has help me when other in the group needed assistance and as such is my apprentice of the week.

KYLE BRASENELL FROM NETWORK LTD (L4 SOFTWARE DEVELOPER)

Kyle was outstanding this week and that is why he is my apprentice of the week.  The dbms he designed and created were excellent, taking into account the principles of HCI.

JORDON MOSS FROM PULSAR COMPUTING (L4 IT PROFESSIONAL)

Jordan is my AOTW as he was a delight to have and helpful with me and others. Chat contributions were excellent and he was always keen to contribute and it wasn't forced. Peer breakout and direct 1-1 work was noted as well as a practical completed on time with excellent diagnosis along the way. He was pleasant with me and others and a credit the group in which there were some high achievers. Well done!

JOE THOMAS FROM PIXIT MEDIA (L3 INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN)

Joe is my AOTW this week, he is a fantastic learner. Joe used his microphone at any given situation to ask questions, answers questions and just for a general chat. He is very knowledgeable and did well on his mocks, he even went out of his way to make revision flashcards for everyone, awesome work Joe.

THOMAS MAYCOCK FROM DIGITAL ID (L3 INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN)

Thomas tried hard to grasp the concepts in this weeks course. He interacted well with the group to answer the challenge questions as well as the review questions. He was also able to ask relevant questions but, wasn't able to achieve a passing mock score.

KACPER JOACHIMIAK FROM AXIA DIGITAL (L3 SOFTWARE DEVELOPER)

Kacper's written work is some of the best I've seen showing an advanced level of understanding and a really good attitude to research and work. Got caught out by some of the terminology in the practice quiz at the end of the week but I'm certain with a little bit of a revision the exam shouldn't prove any problem.

KAREN DERBYSHIRE FROM SERCO (L3 DIGITAL MARKETING)

Karen yet again was outstanding, very punctual with entering the room 45 minutes early, produced very detailed work and also was a strong contributor within the week. Karen was a standout performer this week, there was a high calibre of students, however, Karen stood out with her punctuality, dedication and support each day. Karen is a huge credit to her company, her work ethic is inspiring and she is my apprentice of the week - very well deserved Karen!

CAINE LONGSTAFF FROM EXCELPOINT LIMITED (L3 SOFTWARE DEVELOPER)

Caine was a likely chap that spoke well on the mic and wasn't afraid to use it which was encouraging. Always one with a bit of witty banter but at the same time respectful. I have made him my apprentice of the week because he has shown how the mic should be used and because he kept me amused with all his anecdotes!

NICHOLA LEAFE FROM CAPITA PLC (L3 DIGITAL MARKETER)

Considering this was Nichola's first training week, she did extremely well. She was confident and joined in all the time. Really taking every opportunity and grabbing it with both hands. An absolute joy to have in the group!

ANDREW PHIMISTER FROM CROWDER & CO LIMITED (L3 SOFTWARE DEVELOPER)

Andrew has been excellent this week. A pleasure to have on course, always willing to work hard and always willing to get involved with discussions and debates.

ASHLEY RICHARDS FROM RED PALM TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (L3 INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN)

Ashley struggled with the labs. His test results improved as the week went on. He always asked whenever he was unsure, by the end of the week he seemed to be much more confident with the course.
