[hall of fame]

Congratulations to Luke Caffery from Unified Communications for being named September's Apprentice of the Month! He will be receiving £50 in high street vouchers.

"I would like to nominate Luke for Apprentice of the Month for various reasons, but I will try and keep it as short as possible.

Luke has now been named Apprentice of the Week 4 times out of a possible 5, this is a fantastic achievement and we are proud of the time and effort he has investor to ensure he has achieved this. The measure of Luke was he was disappointed not to win 5 out of 5 Apprentice of the Week nominations.

His transformation over the past year has been truly remarkable.

Luke has given the business so much extra confidence that we have off the back of Luke's success taken on another apprentice.

Let me tell you a little more about Luke;

He is the most polite and well-mannered young man, which I have had the pleasure to meet. This is also shown when dealing with customers daily, he has added an extra dimension to the team and the business.

Not only will I give him a task to do and it be completed in a timely and effective manner, Luke will actively go out of his way to further follow up to ensure the solutions are still working.

He deals with a multitude of customers from small one-man bands to multinational companies, the level of service Luke gives does not waiver in the slightest depending who the customer is, he is always 100% on point with customer needs. There is no ego, no self-inflated perception of success because of the great feedback, he gets on with things, just a desire to do well and get on with the job in hand.

Customers who come into the business always comment on how helpful and what a pleasure it is to deal with him, he certainly has helped us retain future business for years to come."

We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone that nominated, please see below!

Kareem has been with EPC-UK for just over 6 months now and he is a brilliant asset to the company. His I.T knowledge is next to none and he isn’t afraid to take on any task head first. He is very hard working and within the first few months of being employed by us he was given a project of delivering mobile phones to the Services division.

This involved visiting every depot and setting up the new devices for every member of staff. He carried this out extremely professionally and I’ve heard nothing but good feedback in regards to the roll-out. He is now starting to undertake his courses with Baltic Training (one every month) and he passed his first course with flying colours.

Kareem is settling in extremely well and is very eager to learn. He is very confident in speaking to people and has started carrying out the I.T induction in which every new employee gets on their first day of joining the company. During this presentation Kareem will go through mobile phones, shared drives and how to use the company provided laptop.

This is a vital and memorable introduction to our hardware and gets new starters up to date with our technology We are extremely happy with the progress Kareem is making and couldn’t ask for a better apprentice here at EPC-UK!

I’d like to nominate Oliver Rowan from Resolve as Apprentice of the month please.

In August Oliver completed well over 100 tickets and all the feedback we got from the clients was 100% Excellent including the following feedback:

  • Oliver was pleasant, polite, professional and solved my issue promptly.
  • Quick, competent and effective! Three words that are most important!
  • A*********

Oliver is much more than “just” an apprentice. He is an integral part of the team, logging tickets, fixing things first time and demonstrating all the Resolve values of Excellence, Passion, Innovation, Responsibility and Communication. He was recently nominated for our employee of the month for the amazing way he stepped up and dealt with a number of tickets from a colleague that was absent and has been nominated again this month for the terrific 95% he achieved on his latest exam.

We’re delighted to have Oliver on our team, he goes from strength to strength.

Since joining the Internal IT team at Partnerize in October last year Jeevan has firmly established himself as a dependable, well respected member of the department.

He has taken an independent, reliable approach to all the tasks he has been assigned including:

  • Taking ownership of all anti-virus alerts and ensuring they are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Setting up and maintaining all meeting room space equipment across the entire office. This included creating a process documenting all tasks involved in the daily check of these spaces.
  • Contributing several documents that are now used in our user facing knowledge base.
  • Conducting an equipment audit which was complex task requiring a lot of attention to detail.

As well as Jeevan’s day-to-day work, he has also made time for his studies. In his spare time, including his own lunch break on occasion, Jeevan can usually be found at his desk working though practice exams or going through notes he has taken during a training session.

Jeevan has demonstrated a level of maturity and good humour well beyond his years and as a result is very highly thought of by everyone at Partnerize.

We firmly believe that for all the reasons above Jeevan deserves recognition as Apprentice of the Month.
