We’ve had some tough competition for April’s Apprentice of the Month, with some really outstanding nominations. These are tough times for businesses, and we are constantly inspired by our apprentices as they step up to new challenges, take change in their stride, and continue to deliver some amazing work.
Here’s the run-down of April’s Apprentice of the Month and our stand-out nominees:
This month's winner is Jordan Dooley, a Level 3 IT Infrastructure apprentice with ITC Service Ltd. Jordan was nominated by Kate Anderson, who sent in a heart-warming and creative submission – including a Jordan-themed acrostic!

Here’s what ITC Service had to say about Jordan, or as he is formally known there: Jordan Dooley – The Legend…
“We offered Jordan an apprenticeship at ITC Service as his work ethic and drive were clear to see. At the time he was working three jobs with a lot of travel involved, meaning he worked every single day and didn’t really think anything of it! We were sure he’d be a motivated and driven member of the team and he’s exceeded our expectations!
Jordan is an absolute asset to our team. He is the loveliest young man and never, ever complains. A total team player, and he has ambition to do great things with us long term.
As an IT support provider, the Coronavirus pandemic brought with it huge business challenges; our workload quadrupled within a week and our team were working all hours to keep on top of things. Jordan didn’t see this as a negative, he thrived on it and loved the opportunity to help others in this difficult situation.
I can only say that I hope my son turns out to be anywhere near as amazing as Jordan, he’s an absolute credit to his family and he is a much-loved member of the ITC family.”
We received four other wonderful nominations for the title that we simply have to share. We are so proud of the work they are doing and the difference they make each and every day in their workplace.
“Since joining the team in November 2019 Chloe has quickly become an integral part of the company. The main reason that we wanted to take on an apprentice was to pre-empt the need for additional support later in 2020. Shortly after Chloe started it became apparent that she was going to offer significant value long before originally anticipated. In early marketing team meetings Chloe constantly gave a fresh perspective on things that we didn’t know was missing. I am confident that in the months and years to come, Chloe will continue to help the company grow and she has a bright future at Allsee.”
“Ben has been with us a little more than 2 months and I could not be happier with his performance so far. From the first day he joined us, he has dived head-first into everything that has come his way. With the current challenges we face with Covid-19, for a business this is new territory and Ben has reacted excellently. Ben has been able to assist with the needs of the business and keep everything running smoothly. I would just like to thank Ben for his hard work and look forward to him progressing through the remainder of his apprenticeship programme.”
“Calogero has quickly learnt the fine art of balancing perseverance with seeking guidance, making him a fully productive member of his delivery team. He’s jumped at the chance to take the lead on an internal project involving the creation of a front-end web application for the company’s onboarding programme. I couldn’t be happier with Calogero’s work ethic, desire to learn, ability to integrate with the team and relentless passion for the job. Calogero is the textbook example of apprenticeships working well!”
“James has shown such a huge commitment and has transitioned into the workplace with such ease. He continues to learn every day and has turned into an integral part of the helpdesk team. During the last month, James has been working from home as a helpdesk engineer. Over the last few weeks, he has received a 100% satisfaction score on our ticketing system and always goes the extra mile. We have had a few apprentices in the past few years, and James has really raised the bar and set it moving forwards. James has turned into the go-to guy around ESP for internal support. He is always happy to oblige, and with a smile on his face.”
