Update for Learners and Employers with Baltic Apprenticeships:
As the nation experiences a third national Coronavirus lockdown, we'd like to take this opportunity to reassure our learners and employers that Baltic Apprenticeships are continuing to operate with our usual high standards of training and customer service.
As the first training provider to offer a completely digital apprenticeship training platform, Baltic Apprenticeships has been in a very strong position to continue delivering our training programmes via our SMART Classroom throughout the pandemic. We have also been able to offer additional flexibility and support as needed for our learners and their employers.
As we move into 2021, we're finding many organisations have adapted well to remote working or social distancing and are keen to continue growing and developing their teams through apprenticeships. In face, some of our programmes have seen record demand since March last year - highlighting how important digital skills are right now across many different industries.
Information for our Learners:
All of our training programmes are going ahead as normal, delivered through our SMART Classroom. Your Learning Mentor will be on hand to support you through your review sessions and we can arrange extra personalised support if needed.
Remember to look after yourself during this time. If you feel physically unwell, please follow the latest advice from the NHS. If you are worried or anxious about the impact of Covid-19, you can discuss your feelings with a trained advisor through our Mindful Employer Apprentice Helpline. This helpline is free, impartial and completely confidential, just ask your Learning Mentor for the details.
Our programmes are running as usual, with additional flexibility and support available for our employers and learners. Our apprentices can continue with their current training schedule, including support and review sessions with their dedicated Baltic Learning Mentor.
Our team can work remotely, and we are on hand to help in any way we can.
If you apprentice is currently experiencing a reduced workload for any reason, we are able to offer them access to additional self-directed learning modules which will contribute towards their Off-The-Job training hours. If your workplace is disrupted by Coronavirus and this has any impact on your apprentices, please get in touch so that we can work with you to prevent any progression issues that may arise.
Assessments, including examinations and the End Point Assessment (EPA) can all be conducted remotely. Further details on this will be provided as your apprentice approaches this point.
Our team are still available to discuss current apprenticeship programmes and funding opportunities with potential apprentice employers. We are actively advertising new vacancies and building our talent pool.
Whether you are ready to hire a new apprentice, or simply considering how an apprenticeship programme may fit into your organisation's goals, we are here to support you. Meetings between the Baltic team and prospective employers will continue remotely, taking into account current public health guidelines.
