[Baltic News]

An apprenticeship is defined as a full-time job with training, but a digital apprenticeship with Baltic is so much more than that! Our digital apprenticeship programmes are designed to make the most out of your existing knowledge and passion, as well as giving you the tools and knowledge to thrive in the tech sector.

Regardless of the apprenticeship programme you choose to do, each one of our apprentices receives the same standard of top class training and support throughout the duration of their programme and beyond. Don’t take our word for it though, find out from the apprentices themselves in our case studies and take a look to see the types of companies you could be working for!

With 95% of our apprentices being employed upon completion of their programme or progressing onto a higher level apprenticeship, it really does pay to train with Baltic Apprenticeships.

The apprenticeship wage is currently £4.30 per hour but some employers do offer their apprentices more. You will receive this alongside the same benefits and entitlements as other full-time staff members within the business (holiday entitlement’s etc.) in addition to apprentice specific perks and rewards provided by Baltic.

We love to reward our apprentices and celebrate their success. This is why we have multiple initiatives running throughout the year. These are Apprentice of the Week and Apprentice of the Month, and not forgetting our annual Apprentice of the Year award.

Each week, our training team will put forward the learners they feel made fantastic progress. If you win Apprentice of the Week, you will receive a special thank you!

Apprentice of the Month is a great way to recognise the hard work and dedication that our apprentices put in. We encourage our employers to nominate those apprentices who they feel have gone that extra mile or have excelled in their training. If you win this fantastic award, you will receive a gift from us.

Our prestigious Apprentice of the Year award is announced during National Apprenticeship Week each year, where we encourage our employers to nominate their apprentices. The quality of nominations we receive are always outstanding and we are always completely blown away by the countless success stories and the great comments everyone has about our apprentices. The winner is selected by senior members from Baltic Apprenticeships after all of the nominations are received, with the winner receiving a trophy!

Since June 2011, all apprentices in the UK have been eligible for a NUS student discount card. A card costs just £11 from the National Union of Students and anyone who owns one is eligible to free advice, high street discounts and access to exclusive events. Click here to buy your own!

As you can see, an apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships is so much more than “just a job with training”, and this is why we love them! We know you will love them too, to find out how to become an apprentice with Baltic and to see our apprenticeship vacancies in your area!
