CORE MODULES

The technical training courses cover all the knowledge, skills and behaviours you’ll need to succeed in your apprenticeship. Our training is delivered by subject specialists via our SMART Classroom learning environment.

Course 1: Principles of Coding

Understanding how the web works is the key to executing effective digital marketing activity. This introductory course covers the fundamentals of search engine operations, mobile friendly and responsive design, and the use of common web languages.

Course 2: Principles of Online and Offline Marketing (Part 1)

This course equips you with an understanding of marketing theory and best practice for creating successful digital campaigns. In part one, we’ll focus on the core principles of offline and online marketing, including the customer lifecycle and different marketing channels.

Course 3: Principles of Online and Offline Marketing (Part 2)

After establishing a solid foundation in the core principles of marketing, we’ll take a deeper dive into online marketing, including the components of a marketing campaign, customer relationship marketing, and legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks.

Course 4: Google Analytics

Google Analytics is one of the most powerful and widely used tools within the marketing industry. This course will give you the knowledge and practical skills you’ll need to gain actionable insights and improve your campaigns.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Alongside our formal technical training courses, Baltic apprentices are supported to implement their knowledge, skills, and behaviours within their job role. Through a mix of workplace projects and competency workshops, you will learn to put your skills into practice and create measurable impact within your team.

Workplace Projects

You’ll complete a range of digital marketing projects throughout your apprenticeships, aligned to your day-to-day work activities to build a professional portfolio of evidence.

Competency Workshops

Our specialist Technical Skills Coaches will support and prepare you for each workplace project through competency workshops. These training days help you apply your knowledge to your working environment.

SUPPORT & ASSESSMENT

Learning Mentor Support

Throughout a Baltic Apprenticeship, you’ll be supported by your dedicated Learning Mentor. Our Learning Mentors conduct regular one-to-one review sessions as you progress through the programme, providing targeted personal support to set you up for success.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

To achieve your apprenticeship qualification, you will need to complete your End Point Assessment (EPA). The EPA takes place in the final stage of your apprenticeship, and is conducted by an independent assessor. The EPA includes a portfolio, business-related project, employer reference and an interview.

Digital Marketers play an increasingly vital role within organisations of all shapes, sizes, and sectors of industry. The primary purpose of a Digital Marketing role is to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through a variety of online channels.

In their day-to-day role, a Digital Marketer will work to design, build, and implement digital campaigns on web and social media platforms.

Alongside the wider team, Digital Marketers are typically involved in the development and maintenance of their organisations’ digital presence, including website SEO, content creation, email marketing, and social media.

After completing your Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship, you can continue to develop your skills and career with our Level 4 Marketing Executive programme.
