National Apprenticeship Week 2014 is here!
This is the seventh year of the National apprenticeship week. It is a great opportunity for anybody with an interest in apprenticeships to take part and for everyone else promote the huge benefits involved in taking on an apprentice. This week is about demonstrating that Apprenticeships are great for businesses, personal careers and creating opportunities for both employers and apprentices.
So, what are we doing this week?
We are heading down to Manchester to exhibit at the North West Skills show, if you would like to come along and visit we will be at Event City, Manchester on the 5th and 6th.
We are also running our very own competition! How would you like to win a £50 gift voucher of your choice? Visit our Facebook page to find our how by clicking here.

What happened last year?
National apprenticeship week 2013 was a huge success, with a record number of events and activities taking place. A huge range of organisations and individuals got involved to celebrate and showcase apprenticeships.
The campaign’s hash tag #NAW2013 received over 8,000 mentions and trended twice. The campaign received support from high profile tweeters including the Prime Minister, Mayor of London and Raymond Blanc.
Skills Minister Matthew Hancock said:
“I am delighted to announce that National Apprenticeship Week 2014 will take place between the 3rd and 7th of March.
“This year, National Apprenticeship Week was a huge success thanks to the number of companies and young people joining in and celebrating the fact that apprentices deliver.
“It will be a tough feat to match this year’s campaign but we will rise to the challenge and I encourage those who have not taken part previously to get involved.”
